Best Buddies Philippines supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) secure internships and competitive employment opportunities. BBP collaborates with multinational and local companies interested in hiring neurodivergent individuals through workplace sensitivity training. By ensuring that both participants and companies are prepared for integrated employment, this leads to workplace readiness, retention, and success of the program.

Pre-Employment Program
The Pre-Employment Program is a series of 12-bi weekly modules for students and young adults with IDD to prepare for internship and integrated employment. Graduates who complete all the sessions are supported as they apply and interview for different workplace opportunities with partner companies.

Companies interested can participate as a Pre-Employment Partner by sponsoring a session, joining in as a facilitator, and supporting our PEP participants. This program also provides the companies with insight for workplace readiness and the participants’ strengths and interests.

Jobs Program
The Jobs Program is supported employment for participants to prepare to apply, interview, and get hired for job occupations that are tailor fit. A Best Buddies Jobs Coach is present from the application to the work proper of each participant.
Best Buddies Philippines also supports the partner companies as they prepare the environment for individuals through training programs, seminars, and workplace sensitivity. BBP also collaborates with company representatives to make processes and the workplace more accessible for neurodivergent individuals.
